Jeff Haney elected as the IIANC Chairman of the Board

IIANC Elects New Officers & Directors  

The association’s newest leadership was installed at the 120th Annual Convention in September.

Jeff Haney, CPCU, ARM, President of ECM Solutions, in Charlotte, NC, has been elected as the associations’s Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2017-18 terms.

“I am honored to represent what I consider to be the best association in the industry. I look forward to continuing my work with the Board of Directors as we strive to bring our members the resources to help them succeed,” said Haney.

A graduate of Davidson College, Haney has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to being an independent insurance agent, he worked as a commercial underwriter and marketing representative for Aetna Insurance. Haney earned the prestigious Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations for his insurance knowledge and expertise.

Haney has been a member of the IIANC Board of Directors since 2009 and been active with the associations Finance, Member Products, Surplus Funds and Trusted Choice Big “I” Junior Classic Committees. Jeff was co-chairman of the host/planning committee for the 2013 Trusted Choice Big “I” National Championship for which he received a Chairman’s Citation in 2013. He served as Chairman of IIANC’s Membership Task Force in 2-14 and was the recipient of IIANC’s 2014 Agent of the Year Award, the highest award given annually by the association. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Brantley Risk & Insurance Center at Appalachian State University and the East Carolina University Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board.

Haney is a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Charlotte and has been involved with several local non-profits and charities in the Charlotte area.
